The Full Measure is a show about making food with as much effort as possible. It’s about a relentless pursuit of being relentless.
Is more effort always worth it? Let’s find out together.
Meet Michael
Full Measure is run by Michael Martin. He is a filmmaker and home cook based in Kansas City, Missouri. He shoots every episode at home with the support of his partner Alexandria and their pup, Zuzu.
Michael works as a director and runs TwoSeam Films, a production company specializing in commercial and narrative content. Before running his own production company Michael worked at Barkley, an independent advertising agency in Kansas City.
Meet Alexandria
Alexandria spends her time helping other people. She is also a full time student to help her devote her life to helping other people as a counselor. She helps the show by giving her input at the end of every episode.
She really is the litmus test that helps decide wether the complicated recipes are worth it or not. She also helps the show in every other single way possible because she is Michael’s kick ass partner and supports him in all of his wild ideas.
Welcome to our home.
This show is filmed in our real kitchen. We give a lot of food to neighbors.
But we also eat more than we’d like to admit.
But why?
That’s a great question! Because I gotta!
– Michael Martin, answering your dumb question
How can I cook like Mike?
First and foremost, I’m not a chef. Period. I’m not as talented as MANY of the other cooks out there. But if you are as obsessive as I am, I’m sure you’d like to know the stuff I use in my kitchen. You can find all that biz here!
